Winsome Earle-Sears has stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Donald Trump and Elon Musk, defending their firings of thousands of federal workers. She was caught saying she doesn’t care about Virginians losing their jobs, saying job cuts aren’t a "huge, huge thing" and she "[doesn’t] understand why" people are upset, even as it hurts Virginia’s economy and families. These cuts were cited as a reason for Virginia losing its Top State for Business ranking.
Cheering on Trump’s job cuts and then downplaying the devastating impact on Virginians and the Commonwealth wasn’t enough for Winsome Earle-Sears. She proudly invited the chief architect of DOGE, Vivek Ramaswamy, to Virginia to campaign with her, rubbing salt in the wound for the thousands of Virginians who were fired because of these cuts.
She even said Virginians who lost their careers could easily find a new job.
Her message to fired federal workers in Virginia? "Nothing in life is guaranteed" and that "it’s not unusual" to lose a job. Seriously?

After getting caught failing to disclose free trips valued at more than $15,780 earlier this year, recent reporting shows that Winsome Earle-Sears took a free, donor-provided private flight last year without disclosing it, potentially violating Virginia law.
